The University of Applied Sciences for Sports & Management Potsdam represents an unique concept which is way up to modern standards of studying and infirm training at the same time. Since October 2009, when this institute was founded, young athletes, competitive athletes and people who are highly interested in sports are enabled to create their own career in the wide field of sports. This new educational concept allows a flexible and very individual acclamation between studying and personal way of living especially for competitive athletes because of its specific form of e-learning and presence learning.
By now our institute gives you the opportunity to choose between two programs of study.
1. Program of study: Sports Management
- Focus: Management of Sports Complexes
- Degree: Bachelor of Arts
2. Program of study: Sports
- Focus: Competitive Sports
- Degree: Bachelor of Arts
In close collaboration with sports and health organisations as well as companies of the leisure industry and our institute the study contents will be worked out and will be integrated in typical business situations.
Qualifications and licences of different sports associations will be assigned in addition to the study offers of the University of Applied Sciences for Sports & Management.
It is a huge honor for us to be headquartered at the Luftschiffhafen very close to the Olympic Training Center Potsdam, where the elite of sports are practicing and exercising. Potsdam always had and still has its tradition in the world of sports.
