Roman Baths in Sanssouci Park

The playfully-appearing Roman Baths were built by Karl Friedrich Schinkel and Ludwig Persius from 1829 to 1840 according to the wishes of Crown Prince Frederick Wilhelm. The romantic ensemble of structures includes the gardener's lodge with a tea pavilion, an assistants' house, the Great Arbour, the hall of arches, and the Roman Bath.
