When it comes to live music and parties, the Lindenpark is one of the centers of Potsdam, and it is one of the largest social and cultural centers in the State of Brandenburg.
Concerts or parties are staged in the hall, with its 950 seats, where the full gamut of music is heard: rock, pop, blues, ska, world music, Rock´n´Roll, and punk. The ambience here is also conducive to the big festivals, open-air concerts, theater, and comedy productions, as well as sophisticated readings.
Skating enthusiasts are packing the new facilities opened for roller blades and skaters in the garden of the Lindenpark. Appropriate annual highlights such as the Spring Skate and the Summer Slam, make the open youth house j.w.d. popular well beyond the Potsdam city limits.
The Halloween festivals and the Walpurgis Night celebrations staged annually by the Kinder-Wahnsinn atelier (the cool kid studio), which over the years have become important dates in the Potsdam calendar of children's events, also find their place in the Lindenpark's program.
