Skating, football, cycling, and much more - there are many leisure-time sport facilities in our state capital which invite you to take part. For example in the BUGA park there, is a four-kilometer-long circuit which is perfect for skating. There is also a trampoline facility, a beach-volleyball court, a climbing wall, and many fields laid out for playing ball games.
The Am Brauhausberg and Am Stern indoor pools, as well as the two bathing beaches in Babelsberg and Templin, entice you to have fun in the water. In addition to the many other football fields around the city, there is the school and leisure sports facility in the Schlaatz residential quarter and the Luftschiffhafen sports and leisure complex, which offers some facilities open to the public. The many forests around the city and the hiking trail along the banks of the Havel river are delightful choices for walks, rambling, and bicycling. And of course, Potsdam, the city by the water, is an ideal place for boating sports.
