Galleries in Potsdam - a colorful world to experience the many facets of the fine arts. In addition to the painting collections in the Potsdam palaces and the Potsdam Museum, there are numerous galleries especially dedicated to modern art.
Besides the selection of exhibits available in the Old Town Hall House of Culture and the Babelsberg House of Culture, the 'Inter-Gallery,' the pavilion on the Freundschaftsinsel (Friendship Island) and the Potsdam City and State Library, there are numerous private galleries which help to form Potsdam's image and offer the possibility for artists to reach a wider circle of interest.
