The best way to reach Potsdam from Berlin is to take the AVUS motorway (A115). You can either leave the motorway at the Babelsberg exit and get to the center of Potsdam via the Nuthestraße dual carriageway, or you can leave the AVUS at the Berlin-Wannsee exit, and take the B1 national road across the Glienicker Brücke bridge directly to Potsdam.
