On a 90-minute tour of the memorial, visitors get to know the historic site and its history. You will discover structural traces from the different periods of imprisonment and find out why people were imprisoned and sentenced here between 1933 and 1989. By embedding the specific local history in the historical context, the tour provides an overview of political and racist persecution in 20th century Germany.
