Additionally,
- she represents the interests of Potsdam's children and youth in the city administration and works in close cooperation with the Children's and Youth Office Potsdam and the Youth Department,
- she is a central point of contact for children and youth who can approach her with various concerns, inquiries, or suggestions without having to consider which area of responsibility their issue falls under,
- she raises awareness among the staff of the state capital Potsdam for the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child,
- she engages in cross-sectional work within the city administration to achieve interdepartmental collaboration regarding children's and youth interests,
- she develops, organizes, and moderates cross-structural processes to permanently anchor the participation of children and youth in municipal politics,
- she reviews submissions, decision proposals, and concepts for the consideration of children's and youth interests and their participation,
- she prepares statements on council proposals from a child and youth relevant perspective,
- she initiates and accompanies measures to enable a high degree of participation, access to education, culture, and leisure activities for all children in line with the equity plan in the state capital,
- she networks associations, groups, and initiatives that work in child and youth work and operate in similar contexts,
- she conducts active public relations work and organizes events to raise awareness of the application of children's rights.
