In the council information system, you can stay up to date on the work of the City Council:

• the members of the City Council, parliamentary groups, committees, and local advisory councils
• the meeting calendar
• the agendas and minutes of the meetings
• the resolutions of the City Council.

The City Council is the highest decision-making body and thus represents the citizens. During the meetings, which usually take place on the first Wednesday of each month, topics such as development plans, statutes, and municipal fees are discussed and decided. The agendas of the meetings are published in the official gazette of the State Capital of Potsdam. Additionally, they are published ten days in advance on Potsdam.de and posted in the announcement boards in front of the town hall.
