Deputies

Burkhard Exner has been Mayor of the state capital Potsdam since January 1, 2006, and has been the Deputy for Finance, Investments, and Controlling since January 1, 2019. He was born on March 23, 1958, and is a member of the SPD.

Brigitte Meier has been the Deputy for Order, Security, Social Affairs, and Health of the state capital Potsdam since July 1, 2019. Since October 1, 2024, she has also been the Interim Deputy for Education, Culture, Youth, and Sports.

Bernd Rubelt has been a Deputy in the state capital Potsdam since May 2017 and has been the Deputy for Urban Development, Construction, Economy, and Environment since January 1, 2019. He is married and not a member of a political party.
