Sanssouci Palace
The Sanssouci Palace – ‘sans souci’ – was the favorite place of Frederick the Great. It served as his summer residence and maison de plaisance, in which he particularly wanted to enjoy his private life.
In the minds of many residents and visitors of the city, the Sanssouci Palace and Park as UNESCO sites play a dominant role. However, Potsdam has many more World Heritage sites to offer, which are worth a visit.
