Childcare centers are institutions for education, upbringing, care, and provision for children aged 8 weeks until they enter school. They are supervised by social education professionals in closed, partially open, or open group structures, according to the educational concept of the location.

After-school care centers are also part of childcare services. In after-school care, elementary school children from the first to the sixth grade are looked after. In close collaboration with schools and families, the development of children into self-responsible and community-capable individuals is supported.

All offerings for childcare centers can be found on the website Kita-Portal.
