The T-Werk - International Theater and Theater Pedagogics Center in Potsdam e.V. was founded in 1997 as a union of the two theater clubs DeGater '87 e.V. and Theater HAVARIE e.V.. Besides the work of mounting productions from its own ensembles, T-Werk provides the physical facilities for other free theater groups from Potsdam and Brandenburg for preparation and presentation in its Waldschloss location. In addition, there are frequently guests from other parts of Germany and international theater groups which hold performances here, not only intended to provide artistic inspiration, but also to encourage contacts and mutual exchange between countries. The UNIDRAM East-European festival for off-theaters and the WeltTraum International Children's Cultural Days are annual highlights of the program.
