Thalia cinema in Potsdam-Babelsberg.

Potsdam has cinemas at a number of locations. The best known are the UCI Kinowelt in the Bahnhofspassagen shopping center within the main rail station, the Thalia cinema in Babelsberg, and the cinema in the Film Museum (the former Royal Stables).

The spectrum of the screenings covers current film productions, as well as movies for the fans of film classics, cult, and experimental films. Over and above that, there are action features and special film series such as the open-air cinema in the Babelsberg Filmpark, in the Waschhaus, in the Waldschloss, and in the Lindenpark, as well as on the theater ship at the Alte Fahrt waterway.
