New students in Potsdam are welcomed with 50 Euro
Since the winter semester 2001-2002, the State of Brandenburg capital city Potsdam has been granting municipal welcome money in the amount of 50 Euros per semester for each student who attends either Potsdam University, the Potsdam Technical College, or the Konrad Wolf College for Film and Television, providing the student has changed their residence from outside the city to Potsdam.
