Brandenburg Literature Office
The Brandenburg Literature Association, founded in February 1994, is the sponsor of the Literature Office. The association's aim according to its charter is "to support the various facets of literary creation in the State of Brandenburg by diverse activities.
Libraries
One of the most centrally located and popular Potsdam cultural and educational facilities is the Potsdam City and State Library. Its building is part of the ensemble of cultural and academic facilities surrounding the Alten and Neuen Markt - the Old and New Market - squares.
