The Fraunhofer Institute for Biomedical Engineering - IBMT

The Fraunhofer Institute for Biomedical Engineering (IBMT) has been, since its foundation in 1987, a scientific partner in the processing of tasks in the fields of biomedicine and medical technologies, biotechnology, health telematics, environmental technology, material testing technology, housing, air conditioning, and safety engineering, as well as industrial process automation and in-line/on-line process monitoring, in particular for the food, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries.

The main focus of the institute is applications in medical diagnostics, therapy and therapy control, as well as analogous subjects from industrial fields.
