Holiday in Brandenburg through forest and meadows astride a horse or on a bicycle without encountering even a single soul. Observe herons and beavers first- hand from the vantage point of a Spreewald punt. Go swimming in one of the more than 3,000 lakes or simply be astonished by the white storks. Discover medieval towns and museums full of curiosities, relax in a hot spring, or spend an evening at a classical concert given in a palace, a church, or a monastery. As a tourist destination, the State of Brandenburg is so rich in selection that the right choice can be found for everybody's taste.

When hunger strikes, you can pamper yourself in country-style inns with special regional dishes: asparagus from Beelitz, fresh fruit from the Havelland, vegetables from the Oderbruch, cucumbers from the Spreewald. From the Prignitz and the Uckermark in the north to the Fläming and the Niederlausitz in the south - each of the regions offers its own distinctive charm.
